This cellared Dessert Zinfandel from 2007 to 2010 has evolved into a deeply expressive and layered wine, where time has softened its youthful intensity and brought added complexity. Originally crafted in a deliberately sweet, luxuriously rich style, it now reveals a more integrated and refined character while retaining its signature opulence.
In the glass, it shows a dense, almost liqueur like texture, with concentrated notes of dark berry compote, stewed plum, and black cherry, now intertwined with secondary hints of cocoa, fig, and a gentle earthiness developed through age. The sweetness remains generous, but it has mellowed into a more harmonious balance, supported by a rounded structure and lingering finish.
This is a wine for slow enjoyment at the end of a meal. It pairs beautifully with dark chocolate desserts, nut based pastries, or aged cheeses, but is equally compelling on its own, sipped thoughtfully when something rich, warming, and quietly complex is called for.

What is the best way to store our wines?
To preserve the quality of your wines, store them in a cool, dark place with a consistent temperature between 12–18°C. Wines sealed with corks are best stored on their side to keep the cork from drying out. With the right conditions, your wines will continue to develop and age beautifully over time.
Cellar door pick-up or local delivery?
You’re welcome to collect your order from our cellar door during opening hours, 11am to 5pm.
Our team is generally on site from 9am so if you’re planning to arrive in the morning, please let us know ahead of time and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
